Shiri Salant is the Academic Director of the Centre for Middle East & Religious Studies at Galilee International Management Institute. Over the years she has developed numerous ties with NGO’S on both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, peace activists and experts in the field.

She worked for 2 years as the Director of Curriculum Development at Jezreel Valley College, during which she was actively involved in the creation, revision and approval of courses as well as the introduction of new majors, minors and interdisciplinary programmes. 

Ms. Salant worked for four years in the Security Committee of the Kibbutzim Movement consulting youth before their induction to military service. She served as a bridge between the IDF and the Kibbutzim.
