18/09/2023 | SCTP Delegation from Democratic Republic of Congo attends training at Galilee Institute
A group of four executives from the Société Commerciale des Transports et des Ports (SCTP) in the Democratic Republic of Congo participated in the study tour programme on Urban Planning and Transportation Infrastructure Development in September in Israel.

For all participants, this enriching and stimulating experience will remain engraved in their memory. The four French-speaking participants followed this programme in English, taking part in several field study visits and meetings with the best Israeli experts in the domain.
Chantal NGELEKA BILONDA, Administrative and Financial Director at the Port of Kinshasa, Ms. Nina MWAMINI WA KATSUVA, Administrative and Financial Director of the Shipyard, Ms. Yves BOMA KABENGELE, Assistant Commercial Director and Ms. Sylvie BADINABO KANJINGA, Legal Advisor and Inspector, received their diplomas during a moving closing ceremony in the gardens of Galilee Institute’s headquarters, in the presence of its President Dr Joseph Shevel and CEO Mr Guy Wolf.
They were congratulated on their return to Kinshasa by the Director General of SCTP/ONATRA, Mr Martin LUKUSA TSHIBANGU PANU.
SCTP is a public company of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and backbone of the multimodal transport network in the DRC.
Its main mission is the operation of water and rail transport services, the operation or management of sea and river ports, the repair and construction of naval units and the management of auxiliary services.
The company is resolutely focused on regional integration through the development of integrative projects in the port, river, naval and railway sectors, hence its interest in the training offered by the Galilee Institute.
The group's participation has strengthened their expertise and their ability to contribute significantly to the development of the SCTP and the realization of its ambitious projects.
