An i24 News camera crew followed us on a study visit with our groups from the Crisis and Emergency Management and the National Security and Diplomacy programmes, which took place from July 11 - 19. Galilee Institute showcased the best practices and strategies developed by Israel, a country recognized for its unparalleled expertise in day-to-day crisis management.
From natural disasters to terrorist attacks, and technological and health challenges, this particularly intense study tour immersed participants in the complex world of crisis management at a local level in a small town in the south of the country, close to the key port city of Ashdod.
Thanks to such visits and interesting lectures, our new graduates left Israel feeling enriched, inspired and motivated to implement the lessons learned in their own countries.
