Galilee Institute designed a tailor-made programme for the Audit Committee of the National Assembly of Tanzania. The ten-member delegation attended the Customized Audit Committee Training Programme to gain a clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and best practices within their audit committee.

Topics discussed include internal controls, risk management, value-added audit functions and evaluation of financial statements.
Emphasis was placed on good governance and improving service delivery to legislatures, enabling a well-informed and value-added advisory to the Clerk of the National Assembly.

The 7-day programme featured lectures, study tours, and a supervised project for completion by the participants.

A highlight of the programme was a study tour and lunch at the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament in Jerusalem.
