12/10/2022 | Visiting the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Nigeria

On September 10th, Dr. Joseph Shevel, the president of Galilee International Management Institute met the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed.

The purpose of that meeting was to discuss ways in which GIMI can help more Nigerian youth take part in higher education, aiming to take Nigerian agriculture to new heights. One of Nigeria’s biggest sources of income is agriculture, and as with all industries, it has come a long way. Israeli agriculture is heavily computerized, it is technical and well-studied, which is why it is successful against all odds. Therefore, bringing education and technology to Nigeria, a country that has the dream climate for agriculture, not only will revolutionize the industry but is bound to uplift the community.
