September this year was a month to remember. At GIMI each course is significant and impactful, but in September we held some unique courses that we are proud to share.

This month we ran some tailor-made courses for two organisations:
The first was created for the university of Lusaka. We created it for people with a business background. True to GIMI’s vision, our alumni from Lusaka University finished the course with the knowledge and experience to start or have an active part in successful start-ups and businesses in Zambia.

The other tailor-made programme was for the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs in Ethiopia. This course showcased the Israeli social protection system, a complex topic which includes various institutions and organisations to provide our students with an accurate depiction of what is done locally. As intense as this course was, since Ethiopia’s Independence Day coincided with the course, we took the day off to celebrate it with our alumni.

Overall, each time we have a tailor-made course at GIMI, just as our students do, we at GIMI feel deeply enriched, and ultimately appreciative for the trust our alumni have in us too.
