22/05/2019 | MoU Signed with the Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia (EPA)

We are delighted to announce, that through our ongoing cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Liberia, GIMI signed an important MoU. Under the terms of which, UNDP Liberia is currently working with colleagues from the EPA to send up to 30 of their staff to participate in key training programmes at Galilee Institute including: Irrigated Agriculture in Times of Climate Change; Environmental Management and on Health and Disease Management. They have previously sent staff members over this past year for training on Environmental Management and Irrigation together with a tailor-made programme on Meteorology, Hydrology and Water Resources Management. We are looking forward to welcoming more delegates and continuing our fruitful cooperation with the EPA under the recent MoU.
