This June, Ms. Linda Gutman, Programme Director of our Transport and ICT programmes, attended the Conference. It focussed on the security challenges faced in this new era of Smart Mobility. The financing, technologies and infrastructures that have remained virtually the same for over a century are finally being redefined. The Conference emphasised that cybersecurity must play a key role in ensuring reliability, availability and safety of travel.

The lectures, panels, workshop and car-hacking demonstration left quite the impression on Ms. Gutman. “We must work to keep our programmes as up to date as possible in this dynamic age of rapid change,” she says.
