The Ministry of Finance, Planning & Economic Development (MoFPED), Republic of Uganda, invited Galilee International Management Institute's President, Dr. Joseph Shevel, to take part in the 'Economic Growth Forum'. The theme was “Accelerated and Inclusive Growth for Sustainable Development”. A highlight for Dr. Shevel was an auspicious meeting with the Prime Minister of Uganda, the Rt. Hon. Dr Ruhakana Rugunda.

Although it was literally a ''flying visit", we were delighted that Dr. Shevel managed to hold some meetings with many of our illustrious Ugandan Graduates, including the Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. Gen. Jeje Odongo. They were both very enthusiastic regarding further cooperation with Galilee Institute.

Dr. Shevel was also happy that so many dear graduates came to greet him them at his hotel. He also made the time to appoint Mr. Chris Kyerere, as GIMI's representative in Uganda - we all wish Mr. Kyerere success and good luck.
