Prof. Mustafa Aydin, the President of Istanbul Aydin University, visited GIMI accompanied by Mrs. Irem Arman, Advisor to the President/ Global Affairs, Istanbul Aydin University. Dr. Joseph Shevel had invited the them to explore ways of possible cooperation and to talk about joint projects.

During the meeting Dr. Shevel presented GIMI activities and new initiatives and Prof Ayden spoke about Aydin private University, funded in 2003 and already attended by more than 41,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programmes.

GIMI and Aydin University have many ideas to develop joint activities in different fields, and we will work on the implementation of joint academic programmes. The next step will be the signature of a Cooperation Protocol.
