13/12/2015 | Strategic Planning and Implementation Seminar held in Nigeria
The 3 day seminar 'Strategic Planning and Implementation' was held in Adekunle Ajasin University, Ako-Akaka, Ondo, Nigeria, on 30/11 – 2/12/2015 at the University. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Nathan Tirosh, Dean of Galilee Institute. About 160 staff members (academic, administrative and support staff) participated and took part in the seminar. In addition to the lectures, the participants had to prepare an assignment regarding the strategy formulation of the University schools. The tight schedule was a constraint to the teams, but the 6 presentations covered most of the components and tools that were presented and had been exercised in the seminar.

Dr. Nathan Tirosh's overall impression of the seminar is that it was very beneficiary to AAUA and successful, mainly because they could use the materials and the acquired knowledge into the university '2015-2020 Strategic Plan', which they are preparing at the moment. The DVC told Dr. Tirosh that they will apply and embed some of the methods and tools in the strategic plan.
