GIMI President Dr. Joseph Shevel had a beneficial and enjoyable time in Tanzania, this October. He held many fruitful meetings and met up with some of our dear graduates, including:

Dar Rapid Transit Agency (DART)

Dr. Shevel had a meeting with a dear graduate Mr. Ronald Lwakatare, the CEO of DART. They discussed the serious issue of reducing car accidents in Tanzania, through a special programme held by GIMI.

While at DART, Dr. Shevel was also delighted to meet up with a two-time graduate Mr. Evodius Rwelengera Katare. They talked about bringing a group to our Winter Programme on Mosaic of Religions.

Dr. Shevel held a very productive meeting with the Minister for Health, the Honourable Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Zanzibar and Dr. Ghirmay Redae Andemichael, Liaison Officer / Public Health Advisor, WHO Sub-Office, Zanzibar.
