In April Mrs. Carina Baum, Director of the Centre for Higher Education, was delighted to travel to Africa once again; this time to the “warm heart” of Africa, Malawi and Kenya.
She started the journey in Lilongwe, was warmly welcomed by GIMI graduates along the way, and had many effective meetings.

Carina wants to express her gratitude to all GIMI graduates who made this journey possible and who kindly supported and assisted her throughout the way.
Though Carina has visited Africa many times over the years, she never ceases to feel overwhelmed by the incomparably warm hospitality and commitment GIMI graduates feel towards the Institute. It is very rewarding and exciting to witness how much of an impact the Israeli experience has had on their lives and institutions.
