M.A. in Tourism and Hotel Management
The Executive M.A. in Tourism and Hotel Management is brought to you in partnership with Galilee Institute and Kinneret Academic College. This international master’s equips students with strategic management skills for the competitive and global tourism industry.
Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in international hotel chains, airlines, global online travel agencies, and governmental or international organizations anywhere in the world.

About the programme
The Executive M.A. in Tourism and Hotel Management covers key subjects essential for mastering the industry, including global tourism and hotel management, management strategies for complex systems, principles of economics and finance for tourism businesses, and international and digital marketing.
Kinneret Academic College offers numerous advantages, including its unique location on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, one of Israel’s top tourism areas. Students benefit from small group instruction with leading scholars and experienced practitioners. The two-year programme’s structure is also ideal for working professionals and students with no background in tourism, thanks to completion courses provided during the first year of the programme.
Structure of the Programme
The programme comprises 3 key components:
Part 1 Tourism Hospitality & Economy
Part 2 Strategic Management & Globalization
Part 3 Elective courses
All of the courses are single-semester courses; frontal lectures (“lessons”) are two hours per week (2 credits), while a seminar course is four hours per week (4 credits).
In addition, each student must submit a supervised project paper (during the final semester), which is 6 credits.
Total required credits: 40, of which 32 credits are compulsory courses and 8 credits are electives.

- B.A. degree from a recognized institute, with an average grade of at least 75, and/or
- B.A. degree from a recognized institute, with a minimum of 2.7 GPA (Grade Point Average)
- Proficiency in English
