Today very few businesses remain untouched by the momentous trends toward globalisation. Increasingly global markets are creating the need for a truly international management style.
This Joint Executive DBA programme is made up of a unique partnership between Galilee International Management Institute and Paris School of Business, representing different geographical and cultural backgrounds. The programme is designed to enable working professionals to remain in their managerial positions while undertaking periods of study and will provide the necessary tools to contribute to the production and dissemination of the applied science in areas of management and business administration.
It is a full-fledged degree, but contrary to the Ph.D. the focus is on professional experience. It is an opportunity to broaden personal and professional horizons by encompassing careers that are in the highest echelons of the corporate, business and academic worlds. The uniqueness of the Executive DBA is the utilization of accumulated life experience as a foundation for research. The programme focuses on the production of concepts and methods that contribute to advance the management science corpus.

Managers & Executives who wish to strengthen their company’s competencies and use research methods to bring new light to an important corporate issue.
Consultants who wish to bring an understanding and know-how to their clients in a specific field.
Advanced Students who after their MBA (or equivalent) degree want to develop a research know-how and cutting edge knowledge in their chosen field.
Teachers of Business who by their passion and curiosity apply their skills to the advancement of an aspect of applied research. Moreover, once acquired, the research methodology can be re-used to further advance thinking in related fields.
Requirements
There will be one intake of students per year. Applicants must hold a Masters degree and have at least 6 years of professional experience. Outstanding applicants with a Bachelor degree may be considered.

Programme Structure
Year 1:
The first year of the Executive DBA is structured around five seminars totaling 14 days study. Three seminars will be held at Paris School of Business, France and two will be held at Galilee International Management School, Israel.
Introduction to Research Methods at the Doctoral Level (24 hours/ 3 days) - At Paris School of Business, France
Philosophical Approaches to Management Research (24 hours/ 3 days) - At Paris School of Business, France
Advanced Qualitative Methods (24 hours/ 3 days) - At Paris School of Business, France
Advanced Quantitative Methods (24 hours/ 3 days) - At Galilee International Management Institute, Israel
Negotiating Access to Data and Research Ethics (16 hours/ 2 days) - At Galilee International Management Institute, Israel
Year 2:
The second year of the Executive DBA is designed to help doctoral candidates, with the help of supervisors, to properly define their research proposal and to develop a doctoral dissertation. The focal point of this year will be three workshops which will be held at an academic institution in Africa.

Year 3:
The third year of the Executive DBA is designed to help doctoral candidates, with the help of supervisors, to finalize and write a 120 page doctoral dissertation of the highest standards. To assist the students in reaching their goal, they will attend workshops which will be held at Paris School of Business, France.
