Maritime and Port Security

Maritime security must be an integrated effort between public, private and international entities if it is to effectively address all threats. Together with other international participants, we will consider the information, methods, technology and resources required to strengthen national security in relation to ports.




Programme Participants

The programme is appropriate for senior officers of port authorities, provincial and federal government officials, maritime safety, security and environment professionals, maritime lawyers and regulators, port stakeholders (including municipal stakeholders), shipping company agents, importers and exporters, dockyard personnel, shipyard managers and high ranking officers.

  • Unconventional Terrorism

Study Tours

The programme includes study tours to major ports, high-tech security industries and Israel’s northern sea boarder.

* The curriculum and study tours are subject to change at the discretion of the administration


Fees and Scholarships

The Tuition Fee (per person): 2,900 USD

Local Expense Fee (per person):

  • Single Occupancy (one person in a room) 5,900 USD*
  • Double Occupancy (two people sharing a room) 4,800 USD*

* Includes accommodation, 3 meals a day, weekend excursions, transport to and from the airport and medical insurance.

Tuition Scholarships
There are a limited number of tuition scholarships available for eligible participants. Each scholarship covers the tuition fee of the Programme. Please note that it does not cover the local expense fee or airfare.

“Early Bird” Discount
There is an “Early Bird” Discount of 200$ USD for applicants completing the registration process at least eight weeks before the commencement of the course


Covid-19 Requirements

Entry to Israel: Israel allows in all tourists regardless of COVID vaccination status.

Participants must adhere to the COVID-19 entry guidelines for foreigners.

COVID-19 requirements are based on Israeli authority’s entrance policies and may be subject to change.
