Agreement Signed: Government of Uganda and GIMI
The Ministry of Finance, Uganda invited Dr. Joseph Shevel, GIMI President, to finalise and sign a 5 year Scholarship Agreement. GIMI will grant 160 scholarships per year (for 20 participants, for each of the 8 districts). The plan is to train farmers... Read more
FUTA Senate Approved the First Joint Nigerian-Israeli MA Programme in Transport
The Federal University of Technology, Akura (FUTA) and Galilee International Management Institute are delighted to announce a joint 'Professional Masters' Degree in Transport Technology' (MTP). GIMI Graduates Vice Chancellor Prof. Joseph Adeola Fuwape and Associate Professor Dr. Kolawole Taofeek Gbadamosi, are to be commended for their invaluable cooperation over the last two years, resulting in the approval from the FUTA Senate. Part of the studies will be held at GIMI and the faculty will be joint Nigerian–Israel. The aim is to share the Israeli experience in development of an integrated transport system, technological innovations in transport and public transport and most important - training in tools and skills for successful planning, execution and management of complex transport. Revitalising Indian Agriculture
GIMI recently signed an MoU for cooperation with VIT, India. The two institutes have signed an agreement to expand VIT's Centre of Excellence in India for increased Agriculture training. This is to help meet the goal of the Indian Government to double the agriculture input of India by the year 2022. ... Read more
